The programme provides information and helps develop the competences necessary to carry out strategic communication management strategies, and thus facilitates:
- An understanding of business strategies and the interaction between corporate and communication strategies.
- An understanding of the interdependencies between companies and institutions. The ability to know how to identify the relevant agents and understand the possible strategies. The management of business relations with different internal and external stakeholders.
- Practical training in how to draw up a comprehensive communication plan.
- An understanding of the meaning, the implications and the challenges involved in the creation of corporate identities, corporate reputations and brand values.
This programme has been especially designed for managers and professionals who have direct responsibility for corporate and marketing communication management strategies. These are people who manage corporate relations with internal and external stakeholders, including the media.
Brand value creation, in addition to meeting short-term sales targets, is the priority objective of any communication strategy. In the corporate communication plan, the participants in this programme will learn to control the processes involved in creating a corporate image, as well as their company¿s reputation, through the careful design of the whole organization¿s strategy and relations with the media, thereby generating an appropriate external presence.
The programme proposes a working system, which allows participants to share the knowledge and experience they have acquired in their professional activities. Moreover, it includes working sessions aimed at training spokespersons in these strategic and tactical aspects, which have to be borne in mind by those who have a direct relationship with the media. The programme also promotes the development of the competences and skills (e.g. negotiation and presentations) needed by the communication manager. Throughout the programme, the participants carry out practical work applied to a business reality, guided by the team of professors and tutors.
