ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1 R: To study the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law you must have an Honors degree in Law, in Economics or in Business Administration and Management, depending on the program.

2 R: Professional experience is not an admission requirement, although it is advisable for the Part-Time Master programs.

ADMISSION PROCESS

4 R:  The deadline for the 2007-2008 course is September 14, 2007.

5 R:  Yes, you can begin the admission process while you are in your final year at university, but you must be able to show you have graduated before you can start a program at ESADE.

6 R:  Yes, you can. Just contact us here at the Communication and Admissions Service and we can organize an interview with the Director of the program you are interested in.

7 R:  The interview for the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law, except for Corporate Finance, lasts approximately an hour. Once we have received your application, we will contact you to organize a time that best suits you. Bear in mind that the Admissions Committee cannot judge your application until you have had an interview.

8 R:  We will inform you of the Admission Committee's decision approximately one month after all documentation has been received: application, documents, Admission Test score and result of the interview (where applicable).

9 R:  Once you have been accepted, you must pay the fees corresponding to the reservation of your place.

ONLINE ADMISSION AND CHECKING STATUS

10 R:  If you encounter any problems when filling out your online application, please check the instructions you can find on this page. If you continue having problems, please contact M.ª José Muñoz from the Commnication and Admissions Service.

11 R:  If this is the case, please contact the Communication and Admissions Service and they will reactivate your application.

12 R:  Please contact the Communication and Admissions Service.

13 R:  It is important to check that you are on the right page, that is, "Check the status of your application". If so, check that you are entering the correct username and password. Your password contains letters and numbers and it is easy to confuse, for example, the letter 'O' with the number '0'. If you continue having problems, please contact the Communication and Admissions Service.

14 R:
  Documentation takes some days to arrive here and the Communication and Admissions Service may take some time to update data. After a few days, if the documentation still appears as "to be sent", please contact the Communication and Admissions Service.

15 R:  Do not worry. If you are in your final year at university, we are aware you will not be able to send an official copy of your degree until shortly before the program start date.

ADMISSION TEST

16 R:  The ESADE Admission Test is an aptitude test, not a test of knowledge. Therefore, you cannot prepare for it: there is no subject matter you can study to achieve a higher score.

17 R:  In total four hours: 3 hours for the written Admission Test, and 1 hour for the Level Test of English.

18 R:  Spanish.

19 R:  The test is usually held at the ESADE campus in Barcelona and, occasionally, in other Spanish cities. Please consult our Agenda to see where you can also take the test.

20 R:  As early as possible, given that places on the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law are limited.

LANGUAGES

21 R:  The Master and Postgraduate programs in Law are in Spanish.

22 R:  A certain level of English is not an admission requirement for the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law. However, candidates for the Full-Time Masters programs should have a basic knowledge of the language.

GRANTS AND FINANCING

23 R:  Yes, they can. ESADE offers various ways of financing the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law.

24 R:  You should submit your application for a grant when we notify you that you have been accepted.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

26 R:  It depends on your profile: if you are a recent graduate wanting practical training that will boost your career opportunities, you should study a Full-Time program. If you are already working and you want to further your professional career, you should study a Part-Time program.

27 R:  All depends on the program and the year, but never more than 35.

28 R:  Evaluation is continuous: examination scores, class participation and coursework are all taken into account.

REGISTRATION AND STARTING THE COURSE

29 R:  Classes on the Master and Postgraduate programs in Law start in October, except for the Specialization Modules. Contact Cels Cardona from the Academic Secretary Service to know the exact start date of your program.

30 R:  Once you have reserved your place, your record is dealt with by the Academic Secretary Service: they will send you all the information you need about registration.
